Another jolly good Pump Track in the books! This one located in Alpine Park within a new community area in southwest Calgary. Partnering with LAWest and Harco Developments, Hoots worked to create a unique, undulating track in a compact yet fun packed space! 

The combined beginner loop and intermediate circuit includes formal seating area and start deck for riders to dive into the pump rollers and banked berms with optional jumping and transfer features. Surrounding the track is a chill perimeter path with accompanying wood-rock skills components to up the challenge. 

The Pump Track and Skills features were completed in fall 2025 over a few weeks, and with follow-up line painting, signage and amenities through Harco currently in the works. The project complements the overall Park that will also house sports courts, picnic and naturalized areas. 

Hoots coordinated with LAWest and Harco to implement drainage plan, connected with local outfits to source and re-purpose materials, and worked alongside Grindstone Paving & Excavating for specialized services and finishing. 

Since opening, the Pump Track has continued to attract local riders and passer-bys, and when all is finished up, Alpine Park will indeed provide a wonderful recreation space for the community! More updates to come, in the meantime, here's a peak of track & features coming together with some all-wheel test laps!
