Another jolly good Pump Track in the books! This one within Alpine Park, a new community area in SW Calgary. Partnering with LAWest and Harco Developments, Hoots worked to create a unique, undulating track in a compact yet fun packed space!

The combined beginner loop and intermediate circuit includes seating area and start deck for riders to dive into the pump rollers and banked berms with optional jumps and transfers. While a perimeter path goes around the track with wood-rock skills features to up the challenge. 

The project was completed in fall 2025 with follow-up line painting, signage and amenities currently in the works with Harco. The facility complements the overall Park that will include sports courts, picnic and naturalized areas. 

Hoots coordinated with LAWest and Harco to implement drainage plan, connected with local outfits to source and re-purpose materials, and worked alongside Grindstone Paving & Excavating for specialized services and finishing. 

Since opening, the Pump Track has continued to attract local riders and passer-bys, and when all is finished up, Alpine Park will indeed provide a wonderful recreation space for the community! Stay tuned for more updates!
