Fort St. James KDL Bike Park, BC (2008)

Skills Parks

The KDL Bike Park came to fruition in 2008 through the collaborative efforts of the District and the local bike club, and leveraging a combined $80,000 with the KDL Group (aka K & D Logging Resource Management) to invest in the facility.

Hoots worked with the Club, led by Jason Barr, and community volunteers in creating a Bike Skills Park that incorporated a diversity of riding areas and features with playful pump track, technical wood components, progressive jumps and trail with Flowy slope style features from beginner and up.

All built within a 2 acre site, the Bike Park has been a great recreational mountain bike facility that contributed to the Northern route in BC and well worth the drive to the ‘end of the road’ back in the day.
