Henry Morgan Park & Pump Track - Bowser, Vancouver Island, BC (2013)

Imagine a pump track in a children’s playground! The District of Nanaimo did and so began development in 2012 within a neighbourhood play area in Bowser, BC. The pump track was designed with kids in mind, especially kids on run bikes. 

 

With low flowy rollers and big open berms, the pump track is great for beginners and those who want to turn it up… can definitely get their pump on and get funky!

 

The playground area integrates a range of cool features and a very natural feeling with rocks, stumps, log shelter and branch gateway so it’s only fitting that the pump track was made entirely with a natural surface to complement. The Hoots team had fun working on this project and are appreciative of development and upgrades that have taken place in more recent years.
