In 2017, Jay was contacted by PFS Studio - an urban planning and landscape architecture firm working with the City to design a pump track as part of the *Moodyville Park Redevelopment Master Plan, transforming the area into a greater neighbourhood space and social hub for recreation and family friendly activity.

In 2018, Holland Landscapers came on as the general contractor and sub-contracted Hoots to develop and build the pump track. For surface finishing, Hoots engaged partnership with Monarch Paving to provide asphalt paving services.
Completed in May 2019, the colourful bike facility has garnered plenty of attention from riders, all-wheeled users and passer-by’s even before the celebratory opening event with Mayor and sponsors in attendance.
Hoots engaged sustainable building methods and practices working with the significant slope and elevation change; and coordinating with PFS, the City and Holland to ensure bank stabilization with stacked boulders and strategic planting.
