Salmonberry Bike Park, Surrey, BC (2024 - 2025)

Skills Parks

The new Bike Park welcomes riders and shredders from beginner to advanced level! Offering a sweet little package of progressive jumps and pump track features, the project sits in a 1 acre (0.4 ha) pocket amongst surrounding Cottonwood trees, green space, community garden and natural playground to the west.

Access from the south takes riders to the Start / Return Hill which provides a cool vantage spot and take off into the beginner-intermediate Jump Lines and advanced Wood Ramp Gap Jumps along the east. Riders can corner and pump their way back to the Start Hill, or transition to the north platform deck and secondary access - hopping onto the Pump Track to explore the multiple circuits, loops and ride line options.

Coordinating with the City and based off of initial schematic plan, Hoots developed the Bike Park design and following approvals, began construction over fall 2024. Started up again in spring 2025 following the wet season, the bike facility integrates a natural drainage approach working with the existing site, elements and features. Future planting and naturalization by the City is currently in the works to further enhance the Bike Park space and go to for the neighbourhood community!
